1950's rock and roll singer graphics polymer-filled neck wrap
Wear a cool tie, polymer-filled neck cooler, around the neck or head for relief from the summer heat. These cooling neckties are great to wear for gardening and sports activities such as soccer, baseball, gym workouts, horseback riding, and golfing, as well as for outings to amusement parks, hiking, and camping. Keep one chilled in the freezer or refrigerator for first aid to relieve fevers, headaches, or wrist and ankle sprains. Makes a great gift or stocking stuffer for cooks, construction workers, mail carriers, landscapers, and anyone on your gift list who has everything.
Cool ties can be used over and over again...and make a great stocking stuffer!
These ties contain super-absorbent, nontoxic polymer crystals that work on the principal of evaporative cooling. Once the polymer is hydrated in water, moisture is drawn from the polymer to the fabric surface where it evaporates and results in effective body cooling. (The last three photos illustrate how the tie looks when the polymer crystals are hydrated.)
My unique design features a segmented casing with four compartments (as illustrated in last three photos) for greater flexibility around the smallest curves. The tie will comfortably bend around wrists and ankles better than the single tube or two-segment construction.

FIBER: Handmade in Texas with 100% cotton fabric.
/! CAUTION: DO NOT INGEST THE POLYMER CRYSTALS.
USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Cool Ties can be repeatedly hydrated and dehydrated. To use, simply soak the tie in cold water for 15 to 30 minutes, or until the crystals turn to gel. Store wet tie in an open plastic bag in a refrigerator or cooler. Hang to dry. The polymer gel will return to solid form in a few days. Be sure it is thoroughly dry before storing. Hand wash with a few drops of liquid detergent. Do not machine wash or dry. The tie ends may be ironed after the polymer gel has crystallized. Do not iron the crystal-filled pockets or expose the crystals to high iron temperatures.
